Long time no see.

What's new?

The kidlets first, Thomas is now in Year Six. We have him tutored once a week at the moment to keep him on top of everything. He has "buddied" up with our little nephew Mitchell who started Kindy this year, and they're having a ball. He came home from School yesterday asking to use my DSLR because he was talking to his teacher & apparently we have the same camera, so Tom joined the photography group & is learning to drive a DSLR...wow!

Jessica finished Year Two exactly where she needs to be (keep in mind that she's 6.5 in an 8.5 year olds body) YAY & well done Mrs Clerke! Jessica struck gold with her teacher this year, the first 2 weeks of School are always hugely anxious for her. But, like I said she struck gold - she now absolutely LOVES her teacher & when I checked at the end of last week Mrs Blackwell would love to have a whole class of Jessica's - I had to walk away - in tears :(...what an amazing change from a few years ago!!!

We're down to 6 monthly visits at the Psychiatrist now, all is being kept under control (3/4 of the time) with Ritalin. Scared the you know whet out of me when I first heard him mention it but it makes such a difference.

What else...

I've challenged myself to scrapbook (atleast) one page per day...I'm so behind it's not funny *sigh*

I also challenged myself to a photo a day - failed that miserably by day two (oops) BUT instead I'll be doing a monthly photo of the kids. THAT I *can* do lol

I'm still at the uniform shop, its been so busy. I've been really sick over the last 2 weeks...I had no voice, I was vomiting, I think I slept for three days straight in there somewhere too - I was exhausted, I've only just come good now. My joints are still sore but I'll get over it lol

Okay, it's 11am & I have a page on my desk, I shall finish it off and upload some recent pages later on this arvo.

the very proud Mummy of Mr Thomas!

I got in trouble on Friday while having my coffee/therapy session with Kelly, she pointed out (and is 200% right) that I am always telling everyone about Jess & what Jess is up to, even on my FB page I have that I am "Mummy to Jessica..."

I am super proud of Mr Thomas and it's not that I don't have anything to say about him, its more that he's very self sufficient and he doesn't need his Mummy so much (so *he* says :() he's easy peasy to get along with, easy going and all of the good stuff that you want from a gorgeous eight year old boy...sure he packs attitude, throws a wobbly here and there but I know adults that do that LOL

I was playing with PSE a few weeks ago, and I have to share this photo of Princess Jess because I just love it! The face is so her at the moment, it's like when they mention the A word, you click over and notice things that you didn't so much before, anyways I'll leave you with my favourite photo of Princess Jess...
